Hi Clan,

Just in case you are aware of anyone looking for an Africa Twin. Since I've now crossed over to a Pan, the @t has to go. No place in my heart & garage for two bikes. Sad

It's going on Ebay tonight.

I'll try to list as much as I can, but I'm bound to leave some stuff out... am getting older & more responsible now.. hence the fact that I've now moved on to a ST1100! Razz

If anyone on here is interested in coming to take a look, PM me and we can arrange a time and date. I work 7-7, but will be happy to see you after 7pm in the evenings. Bike is in Hertfordshire - M25 J23/A1M J1.

Test rides of course only with proof of fully comp insurance and £2.5k in my hand.

Showing 46598ml on the clock today. This is backed up by all old MOT's and stacks of paperwork from previous owners and all receipts of bits that I added.

Top Box - Not the most expensive addition, but it was right for me
Tall Flip up screen in dark tint - Original with sale
New Reg/Rect - All my parts were sourced through either WEMOTO or David Silver (All receipts to back it up)
New BATTERY
New Starter solenoid
New Speedo drive
12V Socket
Motad VENOM End Can &Link pipe - Pipe is heat wrapped by me.
Light Protector - Currently fitted under the front fairing, but think it should go on the outside as it's too close to the lights. Just have not been able to bring myself so far as to drill holes into my perfectly original fairing!

I've gradually worked my way around her in the past year and have sanded down and treated various bits with anti-corrosion paint.

The rear shock has been reconditioned by a mechanic when I had it serviced last year.

The carbs have been balanced and the choke plungers (they were stuck) have been properly cleaned by the same mechanic and a new choke cable fitted.

Did not have the time to take off the sprocket and photo the output shaft. Will see if I can do that on the weekend. The sprockets and chain is still very good.

Tyres are also good.

She's going for MOT middle August and will have 6 months of Tax on... unless someone takes her before then.


Things that may need doing at some stage;

The rear rim is showing some signs of corrosion, but I've taken advice and was told that it's nothing to worry about right now and can be done later. I've been keeping it clean. The front rim is in very good condition.

There are some cracks in the front fairing, but I've repaired these and re painted with the original touch up paint as per Honda spec. Will throw the remaining touch up paint in with the sale. They are basically still full.


Extra bits I've got in the garage that are for Sale separately from the bike and will be offered to buyer as first choice;

Trip Meter - This came off the bike and was replaced with the one I bought. The trip meter is in perfect working condition, but the plastic viewing glass has seen better days. I was going to try and fix that, but have not got around to doing it yet.

Front Fairing and Front Side panels.

Clocks - Full set -(Showing 36596ml) I do have a second spare full set of clocks, but the Wife has hidden those somewhere and I'll have to go on a treasure hunt to find them.

Set of Headlights.

I have 3 full cans of chain lube. Will also throw that in with the sale. No need for chain lube with a shaft drive bike!

Brand New Haynes Manual for the bike. Will also let that go with the sale.

Sealed Clutch cable will go with the sale.

Sealed throttle cables (push&pull) will go with the sale.

New Fork Gaiters will go with the sale.

New Seat cover from WEMOTO. Not has the time to properly fit it yet. Will go with sale.

The original End Can, wire guard and Heat Shield will go with the sale.
