How many Pans left?
Here's an interesting web site, click hear for link [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]
It picks up data from the DVLA and shows how many vehicles are left from any particular model. Shows just under 4000 ST1300's and 3000 ST1100's.
I wonder how those stats compare with the number of Pan Clan members?
Try it for those old classics that you have in your garage to see how few there are left.

How many left
Does not correspond very well to membership as we have 313 members at the moment, however I suppose a good few of those registered are Police Ambo AA etc etc - Rich

I don't think that's the case at all, there are a lot of pan riders out there the large majority of which aren't current Pan Clan members.
From the comments and activities elsewhere I think the Pan Clan is missing out on members, they are either not staying or never joining in the first place.

How many Pans
Thats true but out of the 3000 ST1300 registered with the DVLA I wouldn't mind betting that around 50% are with companies i.e Police Fire Ambo AA etc etc
One of my local Police Forces is using Pans again (1300s) and they have a fleet of around 30 bikes multiply that by the 44 Police Forces in England and you have around 1300 Pans there and the AA have just bought a fleet of 1300s and the Paramedics use them as well

Well, you can discount a great number of Police Forces as they won't touch the 1300 Pan. Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, South Yorks, Staffs and Liecestershire don't run any Pan's (maybe one or two knocking about). It's all RT's and FJR's

How many Pans left
This will change
Cheshire Police has just ordered a new fleet of ST1300s, the FJRs are to small to ride all day and the BMW are unreliable and generally not liked by the riders
My old Force bought all ST1100s they could when the ST1300s went off the road we dont have any FJRs they were not received well by the riders after riding Pansat all and a few BMWs
